Philippine Consulate in Nashua, NH

Every Philippine procedure for a New Hampshire resident goes through New York: its district is Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont. Distances from the other cities in the state are on the New Hampshire page.
220 miles is 4 h 55 min in each direction, so from Nashua this is a full day committed to one appointment. Worth being certain the appointment is the right one, at the right consulate, with every document in hand.
Three procedures that skip the consulate entirely
The most common wasted journey in this system is for a document the consulate cannot produce. There are three of them:
- Your PSA birth certificate or CENOMAR has to come from Manila. No consular office in this country can print one, and every other procedure asks for it.
- Apostilles on American documents come from the issuing state’s competent authority. Since 15 May 2019 the consulate cannot authenticate them.
- NBI clearance: posted to Manila, returned by post. Do not send the application to a consulate, it will not be processed there.
The counter is unavoidable for exactly three things: passport biometrics, the RA 9225 oath and signing a notarial document in front of an officer. Everything else deserves a second look before you drive.
